New to the site, just completed my 22-2 rebuild.
It's a 1974, rebuilt washboards and collar boards, new floor, fiberglassed stringers. Awlgrip paint.
I have pictures of the rebuild in progress that I will post eventually, and hopefully some better quality photos of the finished product. Thanks, let me know what you think.

Beautiful boat, thanks for sharing. Nice color as well. Keep the pics coming. What kinda Mercury is on there? I like the de-stickered look myself.

Boat looks great. Did it originally have a raised forward deck or was it flat all the way forward like this one? I'm interested in seeing the rebuild pics, the boat is sweet.

Cap looks totally custom. The board you glassed in around the cap - is that what you refer to as a "Collar board"? What is a "wash board"? Looks like the casting deck is history too - did you raise the sole? The anchor locker is custom too.

The entire cap/top is custom built by me. Washboards are where the cleats are, and the collar boards are the vertical pieces attached to washboard. I believe they are 2.5", I cannot remember. Custom built two lockers in the floor, and then the one in the bow. I have loads of rebuild photos but they were taking with a disposable camera, so the quality lacks, But I"m sure i can find a few worth posting.

So you made the whole cap out of wood? Looks good. I see the old cap beside the boat - was it not useable?
For a second I thought I saw flake board for the anchor locker. I need to clean my glasses

The washboards are what we call the decks or gunnels on the eastern shore are made from 1/2" fir plywood
The collar boards are made from two pieces of 3/4" fir to give it a thicker look. glassed over with 1708.
The cap was in desent shape but I wanted collar boards to make her a little deeper. It was just easier for me to build it all out of plywood.
