Hi Ya Warthog5,

Bob Doc here. Responding to a rewiring job a member did on his 246 FF, you posted pictures and a review of his work.
I have some friends, honest, who are electricians and who are about to rewire my 246 FF. I showed them your pictures and he asked me to ask you a question.
Your post begins "Ah it looks like Every connector ........
in the picture is a box and my friend asks " Is this a distribution/ fuse center? If so where did you get it?
Can you help me with an answer?
I'm fortunate to have these two as friends so your help would be appreciated, by the and me.
The price on the rewiring job will definitely be right, a case or two of Yeungling Lager and some Johnsonville brats.

Hey Bob Doc,

I just happend to be looking at that same thread recently for my new wiring project.  What you are looking for is this fuse block.  The blade type fuses are much nicer than the round one and this unit keeps everything very neat.  



You can get it at West Marine. Good luck, post pics when you're done.

Thanks Warthog5 for your response.
One of the two guys who will rewire the boat is a perfectionist type as is indicated by his interest in this block. So he'll appreciate your response and I'll just go ahead and order one in advance of their project. Might even drink one or two of their Yuenglings too.
By the time they're finished I'll know how to post pics  of the work.

The Blue Sea is a great unit. I like them so much, I have one on my motorcycle for switched power distribution to my electronics. (radar detect., GPS, volt meter, comm. system)
