OK soft spot repaired and spider cracks fixed.  Roughed up all the old gel-coat with 24 grit and planing on painting down the new gel-coat.  I am doing this correct right.  I've never done this before, just complete re-builds with all new flooring   !

Wow!  What a great find.  A bit of jealousy going on over here.

Wanna sell it?

How in the world did you come across it?  I guess it comes down to being in the right place at the right time...

I look forward to watching the progress...

That's what is is all about.  Take your time and look around.  The best deals I've found come from knocking on doors   !  Everything is for sale except my wife and kids   , well kids!  I'll let you know when I finish in a couple weeks.

I've got the same boat, been in the family since early 90s. I am rigging a '98 Suzuki 140hp now...waiting for the new controls to get here by mail. I'd be interested in seeing your progress photos. How is the re-gelcoating process coming? I've Awlgripped my hull, but haven't decided to do any painting topside. I want a T-top and a livewell/ leaning post too...do you have any pics of other Ospreys?

How is your tower coming? I'd love to see some pictures of 20 foot Ospreys with cobia towers.

It's going to be a half-tower.  It's going to the shop next week, and I'll take some pictures.  Stay tuned!  Look at Madpipers

Very sweet

Well I got a deal on the top part already.  I found a sweet fold down part on craigslist for 150.00.  36 wide x 36 tall x 33 long.  It's pretty sweet.  I am estimating the bottom base to be about 500.00.  Then I need longer steering and shifters, so maybe 1K total.

Mine won't tilt down once I have the base built, but the one on Madpipers is a fold down tower.  I'll let you know the cable length once I get the tower completed.

Sorry for the delay in posting some updates.  Anyway, here they are.  Mini tower is being built.  The boat is getting a brand new trailer custom built because they made me an offer I couldn't turn down and it's dual axle, better safety for long hauls.  Floor is ready for new paint.

Soft spot repaired and floor ready for new paint

New access covers made

Outside hull paint

More to follow soon!

I just went to see the boat on the new trailer at Owen and Sons in St. Pete, and OMG it looks great, they even pin-striped to match.  I almost don't want to put it in the water ..... almost.  I have to get it in time for the Ling run  :D !  Pics to follow.

New pics of new non-skid with Easypoxy rolled and tipped (1st coat, 2nd tomorrow).  I think it looks good let me know what you think.  Bilge area painted and plumbed for livewell (1100 GPH pump and high speed pickup).  New coffin cover and rear access cover.

End result

Let me know, and Happy Easter!
