196 People / Weight capacity

Guys, the boat that I will hopefully own in another week (still waiting for the seller to be available for a sea trial) has a Coast Guard capacity plate, but it is completely worn.  I cannot see the figures in regards to people and total weight.  I walked by a marina around the corner from me last night, and their is an Osprey 20, which I believe is the same hull.  The capacity plate on that shows 10 people or 1950 lbs.  Is that the same as my boat?

A 196 has a stated capacity of 1560 lbs.  This is due to the 20" transom height.  The later models went to a 25" transom that allowed more capacity.

See ya on the water!
