New here, looking for some direction.

Hi everyone, came across your site, pretty informative. I have 2 boats that I am not sure to sell or go through refurbishing. i do not know how much to go in to on them before i am too deep..
both are 246 family fishermans, (from what I found browsing here)
One is a 78' I believe, with twin 100hp evinrude outboards
the other is a 77 or something i/o with a redone drive and recent engine accesory work but 2 bad cylinders. i have tooooo many other projects going on.

So now the question, what should i ask, and is any one interested.
i will send pics
Thanks in advance, rich

The way I would do it is first go to NADA follow the boat clicks and tabs until you get to aqu for aquasport scroll down find your year and model and fill in the appropriate add ons and fixer uppers that have been done and at the bottom hit the update button.  it will give you a value, may be low or high depending on how much time has been spent on the boat.

The second thing I would do would  go through google and put in SOUNDINGS MAGAZINE  when that comes up go to used boats click that then go into the yacht search, and fill in the appropriate  information and see if any similar boats come up, and do a comparison to your boat.  should be some pictures.

Good luck,  selling a boat today is rough.  I just sold my sailboat last fall and I had to put out about 150.00 to get the add in the right spots.
