Beside the main one being Hammerhead..I'm looking to rebuild and get estimates from other people who rebuild..What's an estimate price of just the hull being redone without any power or electronics...? If you can name some people who restore i'd be gladley appreciated!

I'm only aware of Hammerhead as a company that actually specializes in Aquasports. When I shopped around the restoration of my 19-6 I found a local shop willing to take it on.
Overall, they did a solid job for a boat that is meant to be a low maintenance inshore fishing boat. Of course, I didn't pay a lot of money either.
Ask around the local marina's and you'll find someone willing to do the job.

a gentleman named Bob Coarsey out of Chiefland specializes in the old (70's) Pro-Line as well as the AS's. I have spoken to him about my stripped hull. Google "Coarsley Bros. Fiberglass" and it should come up. Bob seems like a super guy and sounds very easy to work with.
Apparently his shop has created a hull mold as well. Been trying to get up there to have him look over the my project. will take photos of his work when i make it.
Give Bob a call. Tell him the guy from Ocala sent you.

Hey SnookNReds,
Right now I'm having my 1973 AS 22-2 hull completely redone. New stringers, new transum, new deck, new console.
Talk to Shawn at Stem to Stern on Hillsbrough Ave right near the Veterans. 813-679-6513

what should you expect to pay to have a complete hull over job done on a 73' 222? Stringers, transom, and floor? Just curious...

Depends on material used, how well its done, etc. When I talked to hammerhead and bayside, two known companies that do quality work they were talking $20k-50K depending on what was done. I about had a coronary as one could buy a new boat for that price and there were still things about boats I saw rebuilt that weren't up to my quality standards. If you went to a smaller shop and could live with less than perfect fit and finish, cheaper materials, and not completely gut the boat your might get away with $10k into it. Its not cheap and it takes time to do quality work. I wouldn't undertake the project if you don't plan on keeping the boat for a long time, you probably wont get your money back out of it.
The way I justified my build was I planned on keeping the boat, I had the tools, shop space, etc. I wanted to use it to learn more about fiberglass as I am a wood person. Even if I had $35k into it its still $40-50K cheaper than a dorado which is the same exact boat.

call Eric at Van Wagoner boats. They are off of 49th st and like 126th ave in Clearwater. They have redone a lot of old 22-2s and do quality work. The shop I work for makes a lot of custom stuff for them too, switch panels, windsheilds, anything out of starboard.
