Capt Jim told me a little while ago that he had water temps at almost 80 before the last cold front went through - that was in the bay though.
Gonna be a great day - and we're not at work :!:  :!:
3 days and counting down. 8)

It's coming down to a few days left and I am still worried about having to book some space at Billy's - should I still worry?  How many seats do you think we'll need? Or do we just want to hang at the bar?
I'll start the count:
I'll be by myself
Dave's by himself
JimCT is here by himself
= 3
How many else do we estimate - 10?
Maybe we can get a decent count now and see if we need to reserve a big table or not.
Please reply with the number of people you're going to have in your group or if you're coming alone.
Thanks all.

Add me and my wife to the list for sure.

We'll need a pickup from Fort Desoto around noon time from someone please.  Who ever is willing, please send me your Cell number in a private message and i'll call ya when we're close.

Rick, are you thinking about everyone sitting down and eating or beers and hanging out?  If it's beers and hanging out, the third floor has a cool bar with live music. I'm not sure if you can reserve anything in the bar though.  I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Don't forget, Saturday is Cinco De Mayo, bring a sombrero!

See ya on the beach.

Didn't know what everyone wants to do - I'm fine with having a beer with everyone - I'm there for the weekend anyway, so I'm flexible.
Joel - are you bringing the '68 diver out?
Tanman - gonna make it?
Shawn - trying real hard?
Scott - how's the missus doin'?  Are you a new daddy yet?  Can you drop by?
Rich - got my number or JJs?

2 days to go - YEEEEHAAAAWWWW

I am definitely coming, although I may just meet you all at Billy's, well see.  I got this stomach thing on Sunday night, but  I am still not over it... so I may be better just showing up for an hour or two to say hello.  Remember kids, wash those hands...

On another note, the best part of Billy's is the upstairs bar (IMO) and you do not need reservations for that.  There's probably 30 seats up there, plus plenty of standing room... so we should be ok.  The place tends to get packed later in the day anyway (probably with people coming from shell), so 2:00 should be alright.  Cinco could throw a curve ball in there though...

I was just notified that I'm having un-announced company Fri thru Mon (nephew and wife).  This will not stop me from attending but I may bring them to Billy's to eat, depending on their wishes and the timing.  They don't expect me to entertain them.  They just want a cheap bed

Hi all,
If it's not too late we would like to go (just got word of the event)  :D hopefully I will have better luck attending than the last event (1 day before the last event my davit broke and we nearly lost our 67 (piling snapped and the boat crashed when we weren’t home.. the entire piling & davit assembly went down on the boat  :(  )  it was in the shop (up at Gause Built Boats) for some time getting repaired.

Is it too late ?  It would be me and wife (Michele) and probably another couple in our 67 222.  We would be coming from Shore Acres (St. Pete) by water.

Damn Tim, sorry to hear about your boat.  Hopefully they did a little extra work (on the insurance company's dime) to it to make it worth having it gone for a while?

Rich, we can't catch your stomach bug just by being near you (forget shaking hands  ) - can we?  If not, and you feel ok, come on out.

Sorry to hear about your boat Tim.  I thought you ran over a log or something - maybe that was another incident.  :?  Anyway, wondered where you were and of course it's not too late. See ya there.

JJ - are your guests coming to Shell with you?

Sounds like we're starting to get a few people now - THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT :!:  :!:

Nope... Doc says the only way you can catch it is through contact, not airborne.

Don't worry- I am trying to be super-sensitive to not spreading this to anyone else.  If I am not feeling good I wasn't going to come and chance it... but even more so that's why I will most likely just go to Billy's- I don't want to be hanging out on someone's boat- rather just show up at a neutral place  8)
