I got to stop by for a brief meeting of a bunch of the guys, Rick, Jim, John and Joel.    It was nice to meet you guys.  We left the beach just before 2 in my Mako, (my crew were anxious to to get a line in the water) and ended up getting into a bunch of spanish and kings.  We never made it back to Billys, so I appologize for not being there to meet Little Richard, who I've talked to a few times about my rebuild.

I really liked the divers door/platform on 222.  Wish I had that feature!

Next get together, I'd suggest maybe the gathering be at 3 Rooker Bar, between Honeymoon and Anclote.  Its a really nice anchorage.

Thanks again Rick for putting this together.

Rick's 230 doing what she does so well:

Rick as my tour guide:

Dave's Panacea... 400 HP on the bracket and a huge cockpit.  Rides like silk:

Dave in the "office"...

Rick stirring up scrambled eggs & sausage for breakfast...

...and Dave making coffee with the aid of his voltmeter.

Dave, Joel & Rick

Joel's '68 22-2 diver... to my mind the best looking boat AS ever produced...

A couple of our four-legged members:

JJ pulling in a few minutes later in his serious CCP fishing machine Catch-22.

JJ at the wheel running us back to the ramp to pick up Mike and his wife who arrived by car.

Some candids of the group... most of us meeting face to face for the first time:

Tim's drop-dead beautiful 22-2 FB.  You should see the livewell he's got!

Group shot of the Classicaquasport fleet, Spring '07...

And Commodore Rick taking a break in the shade with a cold one...

Ok, here are the pix that I took: (BTW, I set the photo gallery to auto-size all large pictures during upload, to 640x480 - perfect size for posting and now you won't have to scramble around to find a way to size your pictures - upload away :D )

Here's Dave and JimCT after we got to the ramp and launched around 2pm Friday

Dave and I - as you can see behind us, the water and weather were perfect and remained that way until we left Sunday morning

We went over to check out Billy's Friday afternoon and make sure we didn't look stupid on Saturday trying to find the place    (Had no problem finding it, thanx Rich)

Coming back into Shell Beach pass Friday

Dave, "styling" his boat on the way in for JimCt to take "action" photos

Sunrise Saturday morning - knew it was going to be a perfect day

The rest need no comments - just us having fun - a wonderful day!

And finally, one of our mascots - Joel's pup, Muttons

The only pics I failed to get were of CapnJFran and his nice 241 Mako - sorry Jim.
Thanks to everyone that came out to support the "family". 8)
We'll let you know when we can do it again - maybe fall.
Here is the last picture of the weekend campout, Sunday morning - says it all

I wanted to bring my 170 but I was camping, so she had to stay at home.  Maybe next time.
