Getting a new f90 yamaha for my Aquasport 175 and I`m trying to find a way to prevent the tie off ropes from rubbing on the engine,causing the paint to come off. I have to back my boat in a cutout at the dock and criss cross two ropes from my stern cleats to the dock . These ropes cross across the engine . I tried putting clear tubing over the ropes where they hit the motor but that didn`t work out.I`m thinking of putting some padding secured with velcro on the part of the motor where the ropes meet. Any suggestions?
