Help needed for floor crack

New member looking for suggestions on how I can fix the cracks in my floor at the side. Don’t want to rip up floor, but don’t want water getting and making it worse.

My $.02 is to grind down the edge to get a good look at it. Looks like someone sand painted the floor so it'll be easy to reproduce that finish. It could be as easy as using some thickened resin to fill it in and finish it off. Won't know until you grind it down.
