***SOLD*** Estimated Value of 1981 222 CCP

Hi folks....I'm thinking of moving my much loved deep vee 1981 CCP 222 along to its next custodian. I'm just not getting enough use out of it due to a change in circumstances.

I re-powered it 6 years ago with a Yamaha 150 four stroke. It's only got 457 hours on it and has been serviced every year before winterisation. I've never wrung the motors neck and it cruises at 22knots at 4000rpm. 

The boat has been stored inside for the majority of it's life and is in great condition considering its age.

I completely refitted and rewired it 6 years ago as well.

The hull and transom are sound. The deck is a little soft around the forward hatch, but easily sorted via the epoxy injection repair method. I installed a new leaning post as well.

I have an as new spare alloy fuel tank (Alloyworks in Bristol) ready to go in should the original fail. The trailer is good but no title. I never bothered to register it as we are 300 yards form the ramp.

In this market what do you think it may be worth?

I'll put $8500 on it and see how it goes. Seems the motor is worth $5k on its own, then there is the as new fuel tank which is $1100 on its own as well.
Would Hull Truth be the best place to list it or Craigs List?

I haven't heard back from NADA yet, I would agree on the price you are starting with. Is the boat in MA? You could also use Facebook marketplace.

Yep MA. Westport. Have listed on Craigs List and The Hull Truth. Can't seem to get Facebook marketplace to work. Suspect because my usual place of residence is Australia, who knows? Anyways...see how we go. Already had a few enquiries form Craigs List...but they smell dodgy...

Sold via Craigslist. Thanks for your help. Quite a lot of interest. First to look bought. Seems there is till quite a bit of demand for Aquasports.
