It's been a while since I've narrated any progress, so I guess I'll just put some pics up for anyone's viewing enjoyment (or not!)  :D and people can comment or question if they'd like to.

Thanks for looking!

I modified the console to be able to flush mount my new Garmin MFD...

The console came out great  :thumright:

Some other interior pics, showing the back "cabinet" with center livewell and seats/storage on either side, there are some progress pics of this in earlier posts
Love the cabinet - very multi functional

Here's the anchor locker I mentioned in an earlier post:

On pic 2245 what did you do to prevent the anchor shank from banging on the hull as you hit waves? Unless the shank lands on the pad that the front lifting eye uses to be secured. I like the design though.

Yes, that's a good question... it took a couple renditions of the hangar installation before the hatch cover would sit flush with the deck. With this final flush configuration, the anchor actually sits about 1" lower than it needs to (to clear the closed hatch), which has the shank closer to the hull than originally designed.
So - I'll try to raise the bottom of the U "hangar" which will also raise the shank off the hull, and I will most likely adhere a mahogany (or similar) form/block to the hull, which will receive the shank and take the abuse of it banging in the waves, vs the hull.

Also (and not that this is part of the structural design), the 100' of anchor line will also be piled in the lower hull portion and is most likely what the shank will remain in contact with.
But the mahogany form will do the job of keeping the shank off the hull. I'll try to remember to take a pic when that's complete.

Been a while since I last posted, extremely busy Summer!
I (mostly) finished the boat, enough to use it at the tail end of Summer up here.

I'll post finished pics next, this one is to address the question that was asked about the anchor locker, and preventing the shank and chain from banging on the hull when underway in chop/waves.. I had originally thought I would glue down a mohagany block formed to the interior hull angle, but ended up doing something much simpler. Where it is completely out of site, I'm not concerned about aesthetics.
We glued down some 1"+ dense foam insulation with an aluminum face, formed over the keel and up the hull angle. The anchor shank rests on that, and it seems to do the trick. These two pics are after a couple months of use, and there were a few days of running in some significant seaway. It seems to be holding up well.
The view angle is a little weird, but you're looking down into the open hatch. The bow is towards the top of the pics, and the stern towards the bottom.

Thanks for looking,
Paul

Finished(?) pics!!!

After having run it a bit the end of this Summer, I'll make a few more updates this Winter... but I'm really happy with how it came out.
It used to max out at 30 knots with the 2 stroke Yamaha 150 previously (no bracket) - it gets into low 40's with the bracket and the new 200 HP Yamaha... really flies. Cruises comfortably at 28-30 knots around 4400-4600 rpm in good conditions. At first use there was some porpoising at speed, I raised the outboard up one set of holes and it made that a lot better. I am considering adding trim tabs, a lot of things I've read about similar boats having brackets installed, benefit from the tabs.
I'm very happy with how she sits on her lines - that was a big unknown given the addition of the bracket, bigger motor, new (relocated) fuel tank and slightly lower deck replacement. You can see from the rear scupper view that the water line/deck location came out well, even with all the changes.
