Stories and experiences
« on: August 31, 2021, 01:44:58 PM »
I’m new here. I recently bought a 1996 200 osprey cc with a 175 oceanrunner Johnson I am curious what everyone’s experiences are with this model and how far offshore they have been in this size boat I have been 20 miles off in my old hydrasport and am looking to see if this will take me farther and if anyone has any offshore experiences they’d like to share.

 :welcome01: aboard PP.
On a calm day you can take a paddle board out 20+ miles but as soon as the breeze kicks up  ::o:
The Osprey doesn't have high gunwales so it could get a little scary if the breeze whips up and you can't see land. If you had a CCP model you'd feel better.  The newer aquasports (Ospreys) have deeper gunwales, like the '03 205 Osprey
