Hey GF,

My Ram has the towing package so its not an issue really but was just wondering.  I don't tow freeway or even highway for that matter..all secondary roads ( I like it that way) and ride about 50MPH to the ramps.

Here in DE any trailer rated over 4K has to have brakes by law, but I'd want them anyway for safety sake..I thought about the Firestone Air Bags for the truck to help level out the load but my 20' ccp doesn't even make the truck dip enough to think the boat is on there..but don't get me wrong, I know its back there though, well at least my gas gauge does.

I have always wondered how the bunk trailers worked for the bigger boats..problem is that my ramps are basically short and kinda steep..not a nice, level, long area that gradually goes down.  Would that have any effect on the non roller type trailer?

Anyway, I did get a hold of the guy with the 4S 225 and he said he's still got the motor for sale but the guy with the 250 2s didn't want to sell now because his "deal" for some other motors fell through..   Oh well...I really appreciate the advice about the motors and feel that the 22-2 would be able to handle the weight of either the 225 4s or the 250 2s, and I know the 246/250 would be able to as well.. 8)
Its called fishing not catching for a reason.  Usually operator error
