Anchor Locker Drain Fitting
« on: March 19, 2021, 08:14:33 PM »
(first post!)  I'm working on a new-to-me, 2000 Aquasport 275, and I'm having trouble identifying a replacement for the existing thru-hull anchor locker drain covers because one is missing.  It's a type of clamshell cover, but is not just half the clamshell.  It's a complete fitting with a small 3/4 inch tube that fits into and is just glued in a 3/4 inch hole.  See the photos of the fitting I have on the port side, and the hole where a fitting is supposed to go on starboard.

Anybody have any clue what I could find as a direct replacement for this or something similar?  Alternatively, would placing a 1/2 inch (which fits a 3/4 inch hole) regular straight thru hull with no clamshell be a problem here?  Or would that allow a lot of water into the anchor locker in rough seas? It's probably 3 feet above the water line.
