Pilot House or Small Cabin on a 170?
« on: March 15, 2021, 02:04:19 PM »
This may go against "Classic Aquasport" but has anyone ever put a Pilot/Wheelhouse or cabin on a 170. I am thinking of trying it on a 1977 170 I just started redoing. I'm thinking something like a Radon or an Anderson. How do you think 170 would do with more weight forward? What else to consider...
I'll put some pics up of my rebuild on the rebuild site when it clears up a little.
Just wondering...
Thanks,
N

The 170 is very sensitive to added weight, forward or aft. Bad idea IMO.
Aquasport did make a 170 Family Fisherman - has a little cuddy in it.
