CC-P / XF Question?
« on: December 12, 2006, 12:30:27 PM »
Hi All,

Had a question for the experts out there..I'm getting ready to sell my 20'CC-P and wanted to move up.  I'd like to stay in the aquasport family and like the ride of the CCP but may want a W/A.  My question is this: Are the 80's 24-6/250 CCP's and 246 XF's the same hull?  I have the brocure but wanted to get some input from everyone else...I love my CCP and would like to get a 25'er to go out a bit further, but when it gets snotty and cold, the W/A is nice to get out of the weather.  Any help would be great and keep up the great work.

Wish I had an answer but I don't.  Sounds reasonable though, being in the same size range. Also, don't want you to think we're ignoring you, someone will pipe in here on this.

Don't know if this will be very readable on the upload but here's what I've got:

Looks like the same hull.

I think you're right Jim, all the specs point to them being the same hull.

Thanks guys, I just got that same brocure off e-bay and that's what actually got me thinking in the first place

Love the lines of my boat and know it handles a snotty sea really well, not by choice but by happenstance

But the 24-6 looks GREAT!  in the brocure too but haven't found too many of the bigger CCP's around..Thanks again guys I appreciate the help..

OH Yeah, Do you think a 250 O/B would be enough to push the 24 xf?

A 250 gets my 230 Explorer to 40. Course I can't keep up with the gas doin' that though
