Anyone have experience with the Uflex Fourtech rotary mechanical steering system? Rotary steering has been around forever so no secret to how these steering systems operate....and most brands likely feel the same. But this Uflex Fourtech model in particular, I like the non-reverse feature it offers, but wonder how much/little effort is needed by driver to "unlock" the reverse mechanism while underway. The description pulled from the manual is as follows:
"....steering system is also equipped with a non-reversible system. It is made up of a special patented device which allows the helm shaft to lock until turned by the driver, maintaining the boat direction and neutralizing the feedback loads on the steering cable."
