New to the site but a long time AS owner. I have a 1980 24.6 Family Fisherman CC/Cuddy for sale. I have had it for 6 years with the intentions of a full restoration but work and family is preventing me from finishing. The transom and splash well were redone 3 years ago, stryker t-top added 4 years ago, I removed the pedestal seats 2 years ago and installed a livewell/seats from a parker CC to replace them. I did not use it or plumed it as a live well, I spray foamed the inner shell and have been using it as a cooler. The original fuel tank was replaced with an 80 gallon aluminum tank prior to me purchasing the boat and was also told the deck was redone at the same time but I have nothing to confirm it. The engine was also said to have been rebuilt but again no paper work to prove it. I bought it with the intentions of replacing the motor since it is under powered in my opinion with a 1999 200hp Mercury EFI. If interested you should consider replacing the motor due to its age and corrosion setting in in numerous areas. The other big item is the boat needs to be completely rewired. I have been chasing problems since I bought it and it will continue. There are 2 new batteries this year, fresh bottom paint and a Garmin 521s FF/GPS and a Garmin 172C FF/GPS as a back up. Also has a cheap stereo and a VHF but forget the make and model.
I'm asking $4,000 knowing that the boat needs work and it does not come with a trailer. Boat is located in Tuckerton NJ.
