Hin plate
« on: September 01, 2020, 06:29:07 PM »
Hello
I like to see if anyone knows what to do when your HIN plate has disintegrated thru the year. I have a 1980 222ccp.  I was selling it back in 2018 but decided it was best to just refurbish it as all the newer boats where just to pricy. I am in the process now and the HIN plate numbers are not legible. I Know I can have one made but is the the proper way of doing it. Is there a legal way so when you get stopped
you have proper ID to show?

I think you are referring to a Coast Guard specification tag, look in our Resources forum - we have a bunch that may fit your needs.
