They're all over, find a shoal with some bait on it. We were fishing a 120ft hump surrounded by 280'. Don't travel too far, they're in super close. Lost a 90 incher at the boat, that one was 68, so we had to let it go, and parted one off after about 45 seconds of mayhem. They're around, go get em.

That sure beats the stripers I’ve been chasing! Water temp is way up it seems, been waiting for sharks and tuna to be spotted down by me. Unfortunately all my bigger gear is down in Fla.

It was super warm. Before the storm came through, surface water was 74 by Monhegan... How do I fish for Mahi?

Jeez I thought you were in Maine, monhegan is more like Mass. They’re usually a lot to closer to us , MDI rock, but haven’t talked with any of my buddies about them his year. Places I’ve been fishing have been around 65 on the surface, stripers probably moved down your way by now.

65 isn't bad, we usually see the tuna show up around 62-63 (offshore). The buoy off of Jonesport is showing 54... that probably has to come up a bit before the tuna make it this far downeast. My goal is to catch one off of Eastport!

82", didn't take it to a scale. The chart says just over 300 lb live weight.
