Performance of Osprey 200 with Suzuki 140
« on: August 12, 2020, 10:42:58 AM »
Looking for some firsthand experience with this setup. Currently running a Yamaha F115 and wondering how much difference in speed etc with going to the Zuke

Thanks

I ran mine with a bracket and a 140 and was happy overall. I needed to reprop as I turned 6200-6400 or so at about 40 mph. Planes quick and was efficient on fuel. I just put a 175 on so we will see how it goes. 140 was nice, definitely not a speed demon but it was a very nice fit.

Crives92, I'd be interested in your setup with the Zuke 140. I have a 2000 Osprey 200 with a carbed 150 Ocean Runner but I'm concerned about the parts supply going forward. Also interested in how your 200 handles the weight of a 175. I'd like to keep my scuppers above the water and the 140 is only a little heavier than the Johnson 150 (380 vs 405).  Thanks, and good to hear of your experience. Dano, what is your leaning?  Thanks.  mvh
