converting old control cables to threaded teleflex?
« on: July 05, 2020, 06:41:58 PM »
bought a new single binnacle universal throttle. my cable ends at the console look like the attached picture. one is basically bare wire. the other has the old coupler from a very old evinrude shifter. the new throttle wants the threaded ends.

Question - i'd like to reuse these cables with my new universal throttle. can i convert these cables and if so with what parts?

Thanks. Kevin

Sorry for the delayed response but I frankly have no idea. Sorry.
