Of course after a couple years your going to want something a bigger, it’s inevitable.lol I have 19’6 and we tube, run to Gull Island,Nautical mile,Anchor Bay,Erie & Huron from the Pointes no issues.. I jig fish on the rivers and channels a lot so 20ft is max size I want. As far as using on the Great Lakes I would not be trying to cross any of them on any 20ft boat,(ex.Edmond Fitzgerald)you know what I mean. Lake St.Clair,Detroit River & St. Clair River that hull can handle np. Ray at Michigan Marine (former Johnson engineer) is a solid mechanic. That specific boat has been for sale for about a 8 moths now. You might want to pay for a survey to be safe. Other than that I think you will enjoy, Good Luck Cheers T
