I am going to repower a new to me 245 Explorer and will be doing it with a rebuilt/reconditioned engine from a reliable source. Question is I am looking at a 1997 Mercury 250 XL EFI with a 25" shaft.
Will a 25" shaft work for a 1997 245 Explorer?
