Osprey 200 Inner hull finish

Need some help. Cleaning up a 1998 Osprey 200, should the interior of the hull achieve a glossy finish like the exterior? It was chalky and got it very  lean and smooth but not glossy.

Sounds like typical old gelcoat.  Might need to compound it to get it shiny.

And for additional gloss, finish with this:

Then apply your favorite wax. I've found that the Cutting Creme works great by itself on all but the heaviest oxidation. For that use this:

This is an older photo but taken shortly after buffing with the Cutting Creme.

That's 28 year old gel coat.

PS....Once you got her all shiney, clean up the blood and guts with this stuff. Works very well.

Thank you gentlemen. I'll try the cutting cream and polish on a small Area first. If we don't achieve the desired results we'll resort to the  cutting compound.
