1978 Aquasport 22 Feet Family Fishermen
I bought this boat about 2 months ago and it needed a lot of work.
I turned on the bilge pump and no water came out.
Today I removed the drain plug by the transom and about 100 gallons of water came out.
Does anybody know where the bilge pump is located?
Thanks

Yeah, obviously the pump is more than likely frozen. See if there is an access plate in the aft and also in the cabin. Where is the hose port in the side of the boat, where the water should come out?? Might be on the side of the hull in front of the helm. The catalog defines it as self bailing - my '71 170 was self bailing, meaning no bilge pump. I don't see an access plate on the drawing. My guess is in the cabin in the step down you'll find an access plate.

We have plenty of members with FF so they'll be around soon.
Here is another catalog sheet - it shows a bilge pump in the very aft. The CCC in the sheet we think is a FF hull and cabin with a center console added. The 188 shows bilge access in the aft.
