Throttle cables 1998 explorer 215. Seabob??

Hey guys have a 98 explorer 215 and throttle cables are very stiff  they are original to the boat and I would like to change them  I am looking for numbers on them so I have the size to order them does anyone know where to find them on the cables or a good way to measure them  I havnt taken them out yet  been raining like crazy and would like to wait till I have new ones to do the job same day and also best type to replace them with  and any info would be great thanks

You will find the cable lengths marked on one end or the other. By the throttle seems to be a more common area but I've seen them marked on the motor end also. I'd look under the console first. You may find Seabob under there too.
