Hey guys! I have a 88 osprey and I’m trying to get the decals off to paint ... any suggestions???

I like a heat gun on low just to soften the vinyl, then a plastic bladed scraper.

Vinyl graphics eraser works the best. Removes the vinyl AND three adhesive safely without damaging the surface underneath. Here is a link to one of my videos using one on an engine cowl.

A heat gun and a plastic scraper can work. Problem is most people use to much heat and damage and gouge the surface. Also very old graphics dry out with age and become hard and brittle.
