Well guys just bought this boat. I've noticed most boat have to the tank below the deck. Mine is mounted in the center console. Kinda happy was worried about replacing the stock tank. Wondering is anybody else built like mine.

Welcome!  Before 71 or 72 tanks had to be mounted above deck per coast guard rules.  My 71 222 had tank under console.  I'm doing a full rebuild so a poly tank is going below deck.

Yup, my tank was above deck too. I redesigned and moved the tank (a different belly tank) to under the sole as I rebuilt my 170.
I still have the tank - 27gal if anyone local wants it (for free).
