Console Dimensions for Tower-1975 Aquasport 222
« on: April 13, 2018, 10:44:21 AM »
I'm in the process of getting my '75 Aquasport 222 completely rebuilt from bow to stern. I've kinda hit a wall and am looking for some advice from yall's expertise. I will be putting a tower on this boat so what dimensions do y'all recommend? I think I've made up my mind with 31" wide but what about the height and depth (from stern to bow)?

Any help/advice on dimensions or where to get a console would be greatly appreciated!

My suggestion would be to pick your console, then tuck the legs of your tower as close to the console as your welder can get them.    A consult with your welder would be smart too, since he may have a minimum footprint recommendation in relation to your intended height.

I recommend a narrow console, the original console is definitely too wide.  With a narrow console and tower or T-Top one will be able to walk around the boat much easier.
