OK then, which two are raw water and what's the third? I see two valve handles and what appears as a threaded fitting (nipple) with the long black hose touching it.

let me see if these pictures are oriented right this time and it makes more sense.  This is me in the boat looking in the bilge facing aft.



So on the bottom there you can see the two raw water pickups.  I already mounted the livewell pump on the one on the right.



Behind the livewell pump is the fitting I think you are talking about.  That is the livewell drain.  It goes through the transom aft and out.

Now these next few pictures are where im stuck.



These two black hoses run through the stringer.  The one on the bottom run through the starboard stringer, into the starboard aft equipment box, to a through hull on the starboard side.  So naturally it is a bilge pump exhaust.

The top one also runs through the stringer, and into the aft equipment box and just terminates.





I had assumed that this was there plan to run wires to the bilge since the rigging tubes from the console come up in the aft boxes and I cant figure out another way to get power to the bilge.  However there is no other thruhull for a second bilge.  So im not sure if they were only planning on running with one pump or what.  But now I need To use this tube as my second bilge pump to the new thruhull Im going to have to install.

1)  So my big questions here......  The top tube is just thru the stringer.  I dont think it is in a piece of PVC that was fiber glassed into the stringer as far as I can tell.  It appears to just be in there.  Does that make sense.  It is also old an deteriorated.  If I pull it out and run a new tube through the same holes I would need to seal it with some new epoxy correct.  Does anyone see any problems arising if I do this?

2)  Second question is can I Drill a new hole through the stringer for a wiring trough from the aft equipment box to the bilge?  Or will I be compromising the stringers?

3)  I also just found this tube. on the port stringer.  It runs forward under the fuel coffin and disappears. 




I cant see where it ends.  Any guesses?

I figured out the bilge situation today.  Pictures tomorrow.

In the mean time does anyone know what size hydraulic hose Bobs jack plate uses.  I need to order hose and thruhulls but it seems like the hoses on his site are twice the cost of say sea star steering hoses.  Wondering it there is an alternative?

Ok so I dragged the boat to my cousins house and he helped me work through these hoses and figure everything out.  So much easier with two people.

We ended up pulling the top hose out of the starboard stringer and were able to route some wires through there to the equipment box so that mystery is solved. 
The lower hose goes to the thruhull for what will be the automatic bilge pump.



The drain I couldnt figure out actually has a Tee in it.  One side of the T runs forward to drain forward compartments.  The other side just runs straight thru the stringer in to the port side equipment box.  Perfect! so we managed to put another hose through that side and I will drill a new thru hull for the back up bilge pump. 



So we found the wire run and make access for a second bilge.  All is right in the world and everything is mounted.




All is right in the world except....  I picked up the livewell that came with the boat.  It is supposed to be a dorado livewell.  Its not like they stamp these things though but it seems legit.  The only problem is its a bit short.  Its perfect to sit on, however I would like to be able to lean against it as I like to steer standing up.  So im in the market for a taller live well.  This one is only about 23.5" tall.  I have a call in to Eugene.  He said he would get back to me monday.  I have some other calls out as well.  So im in a holding pattern for a bit I guess.

Another option on the live well would be to get a shop to weld you up a flip up seat/backrest like in the one that Hamerhead does.  If you go this way you could have rodholders welded on too.  You can never have too many rod holders.
