Thanks so much. Life’s made this dream project take sooo long. But family is still young and will be ready to enjoy boating and fishing real soon. Just have primer left to sand inside then... rig it!!!  Oh and get a motor. 👍

Still at it. Seems like it’s taking a lifetime!  Oh well  I ended up spraying the awlcraft 2000 smooth surfaces and the taping off and rolling the nonskid. Got the wife to help roll on nonskid and she seems more onboard now Than ever before.

You have almost the same dream I have got my 1972 196. I have some questions.. my first one being is how did you find your water line? i plan on painting almost the same as you.

Houston S, I don’t know the where the new water line is going to be. I picked the boot stripe thing with a guess, but really just followed the chine. We will see where she sits soon. Thanks
