Where to buy a cover?
« on: June 04, 2017, 09:05:01 AM »
Does anyone know if it is even possible to get the hatch that would go over the opening on the front of the boat in the picture? I see a bunch of screw holes around the opening so I am guessing a hatch belongs there.

Yes. it is the anchor locker, and there was a hatch for it. I dont know where you would get one but it had one from the factory

Piece of pvc or starboard, band saw or jig saw, and a router and  you could fabricate one pretty easily.  Toss on a couple hinges and a T handle latch and you're good to go.

I used Brazilian Mahogany for a hatch and made some offset latches for it out of 3/4" starboard.  Look for my rebuild thread, probably 10 pages from the end.

With measurements in hand, go to a marine surplus store.  They usually have a lot of these, different styles and sizes.
