1986 200 XF Fuel Tank Capacity
« on: February 23, 2017, 09:46:08 AM »
I'm new to the site and bought my first Aquasport last year, so I'm still learning this boat. It's a 1986 20ft. Walk around with a Cuddy Cabin and I've repowered it with a 200 eTech. I ran out of gas this weekend, fuel gauge showed 1/2 full, and Sea Tow sold me 5 gallons to get back in. When I topped off, I could only put in 30 gallons, so I'm guessing that my boat has a 36 gallon tank. I was hoping it was larger, but will just have to accept my limitations. I live on the Gulf Coast in the Big Bend area and the better fishing is out there.

The 20 ft walk around is a 200XF. Completely differnt boat than the 19-6/200 Osprey. She shares the same hull with the 200CCP. I had a 81 model. You should have a 50 gallon aluminum tank, unless someone replaced it.

And you can't trust fuel gauges. You probably need a new sender.

Here's an 84 model of your hull with basic specs. (scroll to find yours)

Note tank capacity listed at 73 gals.

Is this the model you have?
If so, note it is a CCP hull with an XF cap.
