New addition to the fleet
« on: October 09, 2016, 11:36:26 PM »
Every fall I get the itch to find an end of season Aquasport.  Would like to introduce you to the newest member to the armada; and huge thanks to Polski2 for selling me this gem.

This weekend my 1975 170 was moved to her new home in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin:

The trip went well on the original 1975 Calkins trailer:

Everything original. Decks appear solid and dry. She has spent most of her life in a barn:

Simple console; will update electronics:

All hardware in great shape:

Original emblem:

1975 85hp Evinrude:

Finally, here's a sneak preview of my shop:

So I posted over @ THT; and asked this re the 1975 'Rude:

"Any maintenance tips for me? I've heard to unplug the fuel line and let it run out when I am shutting her down.I also plan on using high grade oil."

Someone over there said that it was a firm NO, NEVER.

Any advice for me?
