1971 22-2 Semi V 200 Yami Inline 4s
« on: September 20, 2016, 08:06:27 PM »
Hey guys. Brand new to the forum. I recently purchased a 1971 22-2 that was redone in 2013 powered by a 2013 200 Yamaha Inline 4 stroke. I am now in the process to dial in the boat with a new prop. I am currently running a Power Tech 15p 3b that is worn. My numbers are 26mph @4100 and burning 8-8.5gph. I am trying to tighten the gap between the mph and the rpm. Any help appreciated by similar setups. I have read people really liking the merc Rev 4 in a 19. (I was thinking of starting with a 17) as I do inshore fishing charters and still need to run fairly skinny. Thanks in advance!

 Welcome to our forum!
First year for the semi V was 1972 but you said she is a 1971 so it is a flatback or 12 degree V? Sounds like you are propped a little light with a 15 pitch, what is your full throttle rpm's ? Those engines twist pretty high like 6000-6100 RPMs.

The title says 1971 but could obviously be wrong. The hull is 12* V. If I could figure out how to minimize my photo size I would post a pic.

Upload your photos to the Gallery. You do not need to resize. Then you can post them in your thread and they will be auto sized. Painless.

Read carefully.

Good luck. :thumright:
