Have a 74 170. Previous owner PL'd 3/4" marine ply onto a soft floor. super solid, plan on just 2 part epoxy painting this winter and being done with it. that said, need to figure out where the gas tank is underneath it so I can put new tank in. want to just set circ saw blade to 3/4" and make access to tank and just reinstall.
can anyone let me know how far from sides/front anchor well/transom tank hatch starts?
also have the standard separation at top cap on transom, feels rock solid but am going to grind it off and check wood this winter. want to eventually repower the boat but may as well get this out of the way first.
