i will post pictures of the finish deck, did not take any during. I did the entire starboard side of the boat, just drilled a bunch of holes about 100, looking back I should of drilled holes in areas that was soft because not all the holes needed epoxy. I got the epoxy from fiberglass coating and 3:1 hardener. the process went well. messy for sure keep rags for the over spill, some of the holes didn't take any epoxy some took a lot and yes the epoxy will come out from other holes, I used FGCI LAMINATING RESIN, the entire starboard side took about 3 gallons mix with hardener. the deck is solid now. for injecting I use empty caulking tubes, this didn't work well, I used a lower unit gear oil pump and this worked great I used 3 of them cause I did the injection in days, I later went back and filled the holes again with drops of mixed epoxy. after it was all cured I went back with a chisel and it worked great in knocking the epoxy even with the deck and helpful is removing the blue tape I used. after the chiseling I went back and fill in just a few holes that wasn't flush with 5200. after that set I used a sander with 60 grit and lightly sanded the entire boat deck. took only 1/2 hour of my time. that was so I can use kiwigrip in grey color. taped the deck and then kiwigrip the entire deck again messy pulling tape after the coat this all was a one person job, ME. the kiwigrip went well to and im happy, I did the upper casting deck the entire lower deck and the top of the gunnels where you would step on to board. I used about 3/4 gallon of kiwigrip, but some areas looking closely was too thin so I will finish the gallon can in those areas. pretty happy with the entire process. the kiwi did a great job covering all the drilled holes with the exception of a few that I missed not filling level to the deck my fault. but this is am old fishing boat and I don't care plus I did it all by myself so it looks good to me.
will post pics this weekend after I lay on a some kiwi in the thin areas.
