RE Wire Project

I am going to re wire my 170 Osprey while its being renewed (gas tank etc)...what gauge and what is best?...This will be for bilge pump and lighting...any good place to buy wire?

Try Greg's marine wire - http://gregsmarinewiresupply.com/  They are quick and reasonable - wire is expensive anyway.  I bought all the wire for my rebuild from them.
You can use 16 ga for lights.  If you buy bilge wire from them its 14ga.  If you want to pull new main wires from battery to terminal blocks you might use 8 ga.

 :2Cents:   Got all wiring pre tested, and works all the electrical including the manual bilge....Now all I have to do is bundle it under the console....all plug and play....!
