All that time and energy looks to be paying off. It looks great! What did you use for the non skid?

Moving Day!  With most of the paint finished I brought the CCP home today.  I've been working on her at my father's house, because my HOA would never let me get away with that.  With the boat out of the tent, it was also a chance to appreciate those Aquasport lines.

I had some help lined up, so we installed the T Top too.

We also tried out the placement of the coffin box.  It is the only part that still requires fairing and panting.  My plan is to tackle that wile the motor is being hung.

Now that she won't fit in a tent, I have a cover to try to keep her clean.

That thing is beautiful. So close to the finish line. If I were in your shoes I would be worthless at work, spending all day just dreaming about splashing her.

Thanks Rick, Mike, Funsmith & Captain Bob.

Me too.  Makes me wonder what if. . . what if when Aquasport redesigned their larger Ospreys and made them deep Vs. . . . What if they kept the CCP alive with a redesign to make it compete head to head with Contender etc. . . or what if Genmar had gone in the same direction instead of retiring AS?

Got the rubrail installed today. As is typical, what I thought would be a half day job turned into a full day with the last couple hours working in the rain.  Not complaining, just wondering, when will I learn?

That looks nice. I'm planning on the white with the stainless insert too. What brand is it?

Mike,  The rub rail came from Marine Connection Liquidators in Fort Pierce.  I’m not sure of the brand, but it matches profiles from Taco and Barbour Plastics.  The ss insert is from Taco.

Rick,  The list is still pretty long.  It’s just filled with smaller projects.

Cool, thanks. I've thought about making a trip over there but it would kill a full day I'm sure.

It feels about right to me.  Good traction, but easy on bare feet.  Doesn’t hurt bare knees when kneeling.  Only downside that I see to rolling, at least in my case.  You need to keep it well stirred throughout application or you’ll get some heavy spots.  It’s best to pour a small amount in pan each time and stir well each time you add.  I got a little greedy at one point, so I ended up with a few heavy patches.  The 90-100 degree heat didn’t help.  It’s barely noticeable, but it’s worth taking the extra step.
