Yeah, they’re not really designed for a quick snap with the pull to the side. The positive is that there was no damage to the transom. That small chip in the photo is only paint and primer.

I've been knocking out a few odds and ends. First I removed the bent transom eye that was damaged when the boat was flipped back upright. I was nervous that deeper damage would be revealed. Plus, I used 5200m to seal the original install, and I didn't want to break anything getting its out. The 5200 was not an issue. I removed the nuts, cut the bent U off with a cut off wheel, then the remainder just unscrewed out. Even better my original assessment was correct, just a bit of paint and primer chipped off. The skins and core were rock solid.
I also faired the anchor locker hatch cover into the forward deck, and did a trial fit of the hardware. I was a bit concerned that there crown of the foredeck would keep the hatch from opening smoothly, but all it took was a thin shim under the outer screws and everything is smooth.
I also fit and tabbed in the tops of the fuel chase and it's twin on the port side. I decided to change my fuel chase just a bit, by building in a hatch opening. One of my most important goals has been easy access to all systems. The idea of completing the fuel rigging through a small round opening didn't fit my plans. I cut a rectangular opening, and used some scraps from the hatch openings on my leaning post. I'll rout out the foam edges, fill with thickened epoxy and add a layer of 1708 similar to what I did for my fuel access hatch.

Glad there wasn't any more damage around the eye bolt - the hole I used got wollered out a little. The access to the fuel/vent looks good.

I've been sanding and prepping the interior hull sides for fairing. It's going well, and after a few days away on business I'll be fairing. I don't plan on doing any long boarding here, just the random orbital and blocking to fix the radius in the corners. Got to get this thing painted. The water is calling.
In between sanding, I've continued work on the access hatch for my fuel chase. I'm a bit slow, but I've figured out that If I can get a part closer to fair before installing, it's less work for me. Less work = less time = earlier splash. Rather than do the glassing on the boat, I molded up some flat stock, ripped strips of glass, routed out the foam edge of my chase, filled the edge with thickened epoxy and glued in the strips of glass.
Here's the chase with everything trimmed up. This took a lot less time than if I had molded the hatch rim on the boat.
Another time saving step is to make as much as you can in a mold, because there's less fairing required. Here's the hatch cover for the fuel chase. It needed a kick out at the top in order to allow room for the fuel fill. With the mold, I not only get to spend less time on finish work, but I also incorporated a band of thickened resin for a crush proof core for screws, all in 1 step.

Still sanding and prepping the hull sides, but since this is my last chance to spend time with the old girl for a week, I decided to leave her with a little jewelry. I dry fit the bow cleats and the Livorsi Marine LED nav lights.

Ok, It's ugly and it's green, and I'll be sanding most of it off, but I'm happy to have the first wipe of fairing compound on the hull sides interior.

Got the interior hull sides faired. It was much quicker, no longboard here. The RO sander made quick work of the flat spots. Then I spent a bit more time filling and blocking a radius where the sides meet the sole and the stiffeners.
Then I got 2 coats of high build on the hull sides. there are still some areas that require attention, and more than a few pin holes to fit, but for now, it will be wash, rinse, repeat aft.
