I bought 5 tyvec suits at the beginning of my rebuild and I am still on the first one.  I wear it when I need to and take it off when I don't.  I know they are like portable saunas though.

Jeans OVER rubber boots, tucked in long sleeve shirt with wrists taped tight, pants hiked up with a tight belt, headsock and full face respirator are my go-to. Ill wear an extra tshirt and wrap an old tshirt over all that around my neck if im doing real heavy grinding... I don't itch at night 9/10 times

Well hopefully that's the case with these new ones and if not I guess I'll have to try Dirts method!

Sounds pretty solid to me but I'm pretty sure I'll pass out in the middle of grinding due to heat exhaustion.

 Well today I finally made what feels like real progress! 

After having to grind the pan head screws holding the cap on so I could use a punch to knock them out I finally was able to get the cap and liner removed!! Not to easy to do when I don't have an extra pair of hands around.

Through a couple of hull supports on but the hull actually caved inwards a bit instead of out. After that I started the usual grinding. After all the work today I am about ready to start filling in the chine and keel with some thickened epoxy and layup the first couple of layers on the port side of the hull. 

Cannot wait to actually start the rebuild part! Getting there pretty fast actually, have gotten a lot done in around 10 days!

Well it's been a few days since I was able to get any work done so today I tried to make it count!

Started the day off by prepping the hull a bit for a couple of patches and then filled the Strakes in a bit with some thickened epoxy. That was supposed to be all I was going to do but then I said the hell with it and installed the patches and then decided I'd go ahead and glass the hull a bit!

Not the easiest thing to do by myself but I got it done after some ninja-ing around :)

I went ahead and layed 1oz mat followed by 2 layers of 1808 using west system epoxy, wasn't the cheapest laminating day by any means but oh well at least I know it will be nice a sturdy lol.

Finished glassing a bit later than I had liked so I decided to make a type of incubater to help it cure through the cooler evening. Tomorrow if I have time I will lay 2 layers of 12in 1708 along the chines and then start working the bow area up a bit. Then I can go ahead with the stringers and start the build process.

Picked up some power for it also!! 150 four stroke

Well I got some more done the last couple of days, was able to get 3 layers of 1708 laid up in the chines as well as glass in a 3in piece of schedule 40 for the drain/keel support.

Going to try and finish glassing the rest of the way up the bow  tomorrow but we will see.

Well I've been out of town the last week but I got back yesterday and managed to get 3 layers of 1708 layed up on each side of the bow as well as 3 strips up the keel. Wanted to do them in overlapping fashion over the keel but I just couldn't get the 1708 to form. The cloth definitely doesn't like to soak up this Epoxy during the cooler weather that's for sure. Plenty of airbubbles during this lam but I think it will be fine hopefully. Rolled out all I could but I gave up after about an hr of rolling.

Going to cut the stringers on Monday and hopefully get them glassed in.
