Hello fellow aquasport owners. It's been a while...
Last time I was here I left a post on the rebuild of my 1973 Osprey. Well I have since decided to scrap that project not because I am afraid of the amount of work but simply because I have no time. My side business has been doing well and added to my already busy full time job and spending time with family I just really have no time. So...
I have bit the bullet and purchased something new/used.. While I love the old Osprey it was never going to be as safe as the 2005 And yes, it is an Aquasport. To be exact it's a 2005 201 Osprey and it's fully loaded. Came with a 2006 Etec 200.
I do have a question, I just recently found a soft spot on the left of the rear deck. It's a small sport 12"x12" and it's a spot where I can probably add an access panel.
Have you guys have heard of anyone fixing a soft spot by adding an access panel/hatch specifically made for decks?
I'll have to post some photos of the new beast when I have time.
