Trying to find some info
« on: December 12, 2015, 09:22:24 PM »
Looking to purchase a77 22.2 inboard.  Info is limited and I am being told that the boat was originally an Outboard and converted to inboard.  Is this possible?  Would the Hull ID tell the truth?
Hull ID: ASPX1846M77C

On this boat?
Here's a good bit to get you started on 22-2 in general.

Yes.
If you browse the above link, you'll see that the 22-2 came powered in 3 flavors; inboard, I/O and outboard. You usually see inboard or I/O converted to bracket/outboard but you can go the other way too. We've seen both.

I would never say no but.......
What little I've found when comparing HINs of like models (CCPs in this case) is an indication of model/length (via a letter) rather than power.

Good luck. :thumright:
