outriggers?

Recently acquired a 250 explorer. Been offshore 3x and love the cockpit!  My port upper hard top mount has a crack at the base. I'm thinking of adding outriggers.  Any one else have a crack there?  Gunnale mounts?  T top mounts?  Thoughts please.
