Key for starboard 01 Evinrude 150 is near impossible to turn to start, run is no problem, start, whole other story. I forgot to take a picture of the back of the ignition switch and boat is a couple hours away. Anyone know what ignition switch could be installed? I know it's a 3 position switch, off, run, start.

Maybe try some liquid graphite?

The cost is insignificant, order a new switch from BRP. The switch may eventually stick in start mode and not release the starter even after the engine starts and runs. Pennys compared to taking out a starter if the switch sticks.

I agree, I want to replace the ignition switch, but want to order it befor I go down to the boat so I have it. I'm just not sure which is the correct one.
