I'm going tomorrow and picking up my new to me boat and was looking for opinions on it. Also if anyone can tell me what size the gas tank is on it. Is there things I need to be looking for to change out or problem areas?

The 215 EX was a re-badged 210 Coastal built by Wellcraft at the Bradenton plant. It filled the slot vacated by the 210 Walkaround/EX when it morphed into the 225 EX in 1994. The hull is exclusive to the Aqua family in that no other model type is based on it. Popular(we've had a number of members with this hull through the years) and fast when powered with the higher HP engine.

Good luck.

Forgot to add.
1996 was the first year your hull was cataloged by Aquasport. :ScrChin:

They were built and sold right up to the end in 2005.

It might be a "Whale" diverter valve but I can't tell. Not sure you can get just the handle especially one just (maybe similar) like that one.

Does the valve work?
Usually, when the handle snaps, the valve is stuck and the handle breaks before the valve body rotates.
If that's the case, you may just want to replace the entire assembly.

Good luck.

Does anyone know if the 96 had a composite transom and composite stringers?  Also, any information on how this boat will do with a 150 would be appreciated.  I'm looking at one tomorrow night.

Aquasports always had a wood free stringers and I think by 96 they were pouring their transoms.
