Hello folks. New member out of Va. I just aquired my first Aquasport. Little detail is she's a '74 240 Sea Hunter. To be honest I bought the boat initially just  for the motor. I have a '95  22'  Seaswirl Striper center console that I blew the motor on. I found the Aquasport with the 200hp version of my old 150hp. The boat runs fine and they wanted basically what I was finding just motors for. So I bought it with intentions of pulling the motor and selling the hull/trailer as its on a nice tandem axle trailer. When I bought it I really didn't look over the boat good however the more I check it out the more I'm thinking about hanging on to her. The hull is solid as a rock and the transom seems in good shape. It appears at some point the transom had been replaced just not sure how long ago. It's a beast of a vessel I just didn't care much for the side console at first glance however it's starting to grow on me. We'll see how this pans out but I figured I'd introduce myself anyways as either way I'll be doing work to her to get it in better shape even if I end up selling it.

I will share better pics once I have her in my possession. We're still waiting on titling issues but they should be resolved this week.

I think you'll find that the 240 Seahunter is the queen of the fleet.  We have a partial catalog for that year - it's missing the 240  :embar: but you can catch a glimpse of the center console model with the tower (right side middle of pic)

Here is a price sheet from '76

There is a section on the 240 in the gallery http://www.classicaquasport.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=545

When you get pics follow these instructions to post large pics for us to drool over.
If you want to post a pic when you talk about your boat, which you should, follow the instructions here http://classicaquasport.com/smf/index.php?topic=12725.0
Spend a few minutes to absorb the instructions. It's really easy.
