Taylor Made T-top Boat Cover
« on: May 20, 2015, 09:30:54 AM »
I ordered this cover from Taylor Made to cover my CCP.  Very nice cover and well made for the price.  Covers the console and boat very well.  It has a 5 year warranty.  The first year is full replacement and the next four years are pro-rated.

Looks good JD. :thumright:

My Bimini top is a Carver. After four years, it's stretched some but still looks good. Not the heaviest gauge material but it works very well for the cost. I'm thinking you will like the cover also. A decent product at a good price.

Good luck.

These are made by a guy in South Carolina.  He can make them in pretty much any color and has a couple fabric options.  He can also do some customizing (with or without bow rails, etc.).  Only downside to this cover is it does not cover the outboard.  5 year warranty is sweet!

Taylor Made are great covers and a great company. They stand by their product. I had one for my 19-6 where the material started to disintegrate (literally) after 13 months, though the sun IS harsh here in Australia. They replaced & shipped a new one no questions asked. Apparently it was a dodgy batch of fabric.  I've had a few covers now from them, one on my 22-2 at my in-laws in Westport MA that just survived feet of snow and ice as well. I can't recommend them highly enough, especially at the price point.

Thanks for the input.  Looking at yours, I don't think I have the "weather flap" correct in front of the console.  I am getting a "sag" where yours looks correct.  I guess I need to play with it in front of the console a little more.

Is your boat a CCP?  Even if not, could you take some "up close" pictures on how the weather flap should go?  I would greatly appreciate it.

John I had  a similar issue and I didn't want to pull the cover drum tight for fear of exploding the seams so I made up some padded tee pieces which gently push the cover up to stop sagging & pooling/snow collecting. Hope that helps.
